We are proud to announce that we supplied a ready-made joint-stock company for the German company GRID PARITY AG. GRID PARITY AG is a German company focused on manufacturing photovoltaic cells. We provided GRID PARITY AG with a ready-made joint-stock company as part of a new production hall project for their subsidiary, AGORA Solar a.s., in Vranov nad Topľou, where AGORA Solar a.s. plans to invest approximately €3.5 million.

Agora Solar a.s. Production in Vranov nad Topľou

On Thursday, municipal councillors in Vranov approved the lease of an industrial hall for the Košice-based photovoltaic panel manufacturer, Agora Solar.

“We were looking for a suitable location in Europe, considering human resource costs. We had three locations identified – Vranov nad Topľou, Brno, and one location in Germany. I managed to convince the shareholders that this would be the best location. We will start with a single-shift operation; in the second half of 2023, we have planned a two-shift operation five days a week, and then we will gradually transition to a four-shift operation. We will produce a final product that we expect will be largely shipped to Western Europe,” stated Marek Šeba, Chairman of the Board of Agora Solar*.*

He said the total planned investment is 3.5 million euros, with 2.5 million allocated to technology and one million euros for the construction of a new warehouse. They plan to start production in November.
