This guide is about a Slovak ready-made company (s.r.o.) and its status under Slovak VAT law. Verify the VAT status of the company in the register of the Slovak Financial Administration and in VIES, and repeat the check immediately before you pay. A valid number alone is not a complete review of the company; it must be compared against the firm's tax and accounting documents.
